Branden SlatteryBranden joined LENSER as a Circulation Analyst in August 2007.  He brings to the table a strong background in statistics and analytics.  Branden graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in June 2006, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Geography.  While attending UCSB, he took several statistics and math classes, which included Calculus with Applications, Intro to Statistics and Applied Probability, and Intermediate Geographical Data Analysis.  During his summer breaks, he worked as an intern at LENSER.  Branden showed a great amount of determination and hard work while attending UCSB by graduating from a UC school with a science degree in only four years, while working part time.

Before joining LENSER, Branden worked as a Geographic Analyst for a major digital mapping company called NAVTEQ.  His job duties included collection of real time road data (street signs, speed limits, cross walks, etc.) and integrating that information into NAVTEQ’s enormous mapping database.  Branden used NAVTEQ as a training ground to develop his analytical skills in a real world environment.

Aside from working at LENSER, Branden enjoys the outdoors.  He participates in a wide variety of outdoor activities, which range from snowboarding and surfing to running.  He has participated and finished the San Diego marathon twice during his time at UCSB.
