Circulation and Marketing Consultant Alexandra Singer joined LENSER in 2005, working closely with clients—both consumer and business-to-business—to develop comprehensive contact strategies involving productive housefile segmentation and cost-effective and fruitful prospecting, using detailed financial planning forecasts and mailing plans. She is involved with all facets of building and managing circulation plans for direct marketers large and small, including vendor communication and management, list selection, merge-purge supervision and data hygiene processes.
Prior to joining LENSER, Alexandra spent two-and-a-half years in circulation and marketing at Design Within Reach, a multichannel modern furniture retailer, marketing to residential consumers as well as to architects and interior designers. At Design Within Reach, with annual sales of $156 million, Alexandra managed twelve catalog mailings per year with a total circulation of over 12 million, in addition to handling retail marketing for 51 stores. Prior to that, Alexandra worked in magazine circulation for both trade (Electronic Musician) and consumer (Texas Monthly, Los Angeles Magazine) publications.
Alexandra graduated from Mills College in 1997 with a B.A. in International Relations and French Studies, and now lives in Berkeley, California.
