Larry MarmonLarry Marmon has a strong background and expertise in finance, business development, strategy, marketing and process improvement.  Specific achievements throughout his career have centered on restructuring underperforming companies and improving both the top and bottom-line results.

Larry’s first post as a direct marketing professional was with Time Inc. where he worked his way up the organization, primarily in high-level finance and operations positions until he achieved the role of Executive Vice President, Marketing of Time Life, Inc.  After 16 years with Time Warner, Inc., Larry moved to the West Coast to head up Maintenance Warehouse, a division of Home Depot and multichannel B-to-B retailer using catalog, direct sales and the internet.  After orchestrating impressive increases in sales and EBIT, Larry went on to lead Aztec Shops, Ltd., an auxiliary of San Diego State University, that provides food service, convenience store, bookstore, retail operations and housing services to multiple campuses and locations—a $50 million business that employs over 1,000 people.

Drawn back into direct-to-consumer world in 2005 by J.C. Whitney, the country’s most well-known cataloger and internet retailer of automotive parts and accessories, Larry was able to dramatically improve growth and company profitability through the implementation of superior marketing strategies, full integration of web and catalog channels, constant process improvement and effective cost control.

Larry Marmon now brings these high-level skills to bear for LENSER clients as he continues to progress his passion for process improvement and intelligent marketing strategies that translate directly to bottom-line.
